PRIOR TO ARRIVING

Up to 72 hours before you arrive, you will be asked to complete the standard Covid 19 list of questions as we believe this is the best practice for our business.

If you answer yes to any of these questions, we reserve the right to refuse your attendance to our activities.  You will be offered the opportunity to rebook after 14 days.  Provided you are then able to answer no to these questions, you will be permitted to attend, subject to successfully completing the temperature check on arrival.

ARRIVAL

A steward in a high visibility jacket will meet you in the the car park.  You will be required to undergo a digital temperature check.

Should you not be willing to undergo the temperature check, in the interest of the safety of our other guests and our own team, we will have no choice but to request that you leave the woodland.  You will not be entitled to a refund in these circumstances.

If your temperature is showing as high (37.8oC or above) we will carry out two further readings.  If they are on average high (37.8oC or above), we will request that you leave the woodland.  We will offer a refund of your ticket or the option to transfer to an alternative date.

After we have completed the temperature checks, we will walk you to our woodland area.

OUR TEAM

We follow government guidelines on a safe working environment, in our cooking and activity areas, our general woodland environment and our toilet areas.

Our policies include as standard hygiene practices for hand sanitising, social distancing, temperature checks, face masks, Disease Prevention measures and the provision of appropriate PPE equipment.

We check-in regularly with our team, to ensure they are healthy and confident with the new measures in place.

All team members will be wearing a face covering throughout all food preparation and the serving of food and if in close contact with our guests for whatever reason.

AT OUR VENUE

We practice a safe working and with our woodland venue it is easier to maintain and respect social distancing.

We have added additional procedures to help keep you, your children and our team safe.

We work following the government's recommended advice for outdoor gatherings. The infection control procedures required by government guidelines are:

*minimising contact with individuals who are unwell by ensuring that those who have coronavirus symptoms, or who have someone in their household who does, do not attend  our woodland and activities

*cleaning hands more often than usual – wash hands thoroughly for 20 seconds with running water and soap and dry them thoroughly or use alcohol hand rub or sanitiser ensuring that all parts of the hands are covered

*ensuring good respiratory hygiene – promote the ‘catch it, bin it, kill it’ approach

*cleaning frequently touched surfaces often using standard products, such as detergents and bleach

*minimising contact and mixing by altering, as much as possible, the environment (such as dining and activity layout).

The following procedures have been designed to follow government guidelines insofar as they are applicable in an outdoor environment, and to do our best to keep everyone as safe as possible while running an enjoyable day outdoors.

The procedures cannot cover every eventuality and cannot remove all risk.

We use our judgement to apply the government’s 5 principles above, which will help to minimise risk.
