What sort of clothes should I wear?

Yoga

Wear your normal exercise clothing with extra layers such as leggings, thermals, jumpers.  Bring an extra blanket for warmth during warm up and cool down.

In the colder months, consider thermal clothing, hats, gloves and scarves as well.

Bring your own mats where possible, especially for Covid safety.

We do have a limited number of mats available for those who do not have their own.

Bushcraft/ Forest school/ Forest bathing sessions

Wear sensible, warm outdoor clothing.

Good fitted clothes (not too loose and baggy as you will be near fire), sturdy footwear and jackets with zip pockets.  Bring gloves.  In the colder months, bring hats and scarves too and we recommend good thermals!

Dining experiences/ Ecstatic dance/ Art and Poetry workshops

Wear warm clothing – we encourage you to dress up for the woods but make sure this is practical and warm.  You will be walking around the woods first so sturdy outdoor footwear (no stilettos!), that you don't mind getting dirty.

Bring gloves.  In the colder months, bring hats and scarves too and we recommend good thermals!

Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?

Please bring your own mats where possible.

We do have a limited number of mats available for those who do not have their own.

Will you run your events if it is raining?

Of course we will!  The Great British weather will not put us off.   Our woodland camps are designed to provide shelter when we need it and the fire will dry us off if we do get a little damp.

Make sure to bring waterproof clothing in case we stroll around the woodland in the rain – very refreshing!

If however it is persistent heavy rain then we may have to call off our events due to safety concerns.  On days like this we will try to give you as much notice as possible.  Alternatively please email us the night before or early morning and we will review the position with the most up to date weather information.

Will you run your events if it windy?

Mild winds are not too much concern.  Stronger winds are.  Without doubt if the wind is up, our camps are not!   We are likely going to have no choice but to call off our events due to safety concerns.

On days like this we will try to give you as much notice as possible.  Alternatively please email us the night before or early morning and we will review the position with the most up to date weather information.

Are there toilet facilities in the woodland?

Yes.  We have up to three eco toilets dotted around our woodland.

Is your woodland wheelchair accessible?

Most of our woodland is uneven terrain with fallen branches and bracken cover.  We like to keep it as natural as possible.

We do hope to be able to provide an accessible entrance in due course but at the moment, we do not advise attending with a wheelchair unless a nominated person has inspected the venue on your behalf to see if the current access point may be possible for your wheelchair.
