About the Event

What is Nature therapy?

Support for your emotional well being, held in a safe space in nature.   This may be in a sheltered space under trees in a woodland or park, or on the beach.

What can Nature therapy help with?

Do you feel out of sorts?  Are you feeling lost or unhappy?  Maybe you know why but you don't know what to do about it?  Or you don't know why and need to talk to someone?

Do you struggle with confidence, focus, mood or feel like it is hard to fit in?

How do you feel when you walk through the woods, sit in a park, listen to birds, stand on beach, or watch the sunset? A sense of peace, relaxation, and calm.

These experiences in nature are scientifically proven to give us positive feelings, as well as a whole host of other benefits:

  • Reduce stress
  • Reduce pain perception
  • Improve mood
  • Enhance well-being
  • Decrease depression and anxiety
  • Help manage ADHD
  • Improve symptoms of PTSD
  • Build coping skills
  • Improve quality of life
